Chelsea fans may be surprised to learn which current star once played for Bournemouth, having taken a very different path to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea star Morgan Rogers previously played for Bournemouth before eventually making his way to Stamford Bridge. The England international joined the Cherries on a season-long loan from Manchester City early in his career, though he largely served as a substitute and struggled to meet initial expectations during his stint on the south coast.
Rogers has since become a key player under Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixture against Bournemouth. The former Aston Villa forward enters the match in strong form after registering an assist for England against Czechia during the international break.
