Owen Hargreaves has named Chelsea's unsung hero after the Blues' 2-0 win over Everton, with Pedro Neto's brace highlighting his growing importance under Xabi Alonso.
Pundit Owen Hargreaves labeled Pedro Neto an "unsung hero" for Chelsea following the winger's decisive two-goal performance in a 2-0 Premier League victory against Everton. Speaking on TNT Sports, Hargreaves praised the Portugal international for delivering key moments in a match where teammates Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers also featured heavily.
The Pride of London's Leah Jones notes that while Neto has previously faced scrutiny over his end product, manager Xabi Alonso appears to be utilizing him effectively in a wider role. Jones argues that providing Neto with space to accelerate could make him a vital weapon for Chelsea if he maintains consistency.
