Architect Dan Meis has stated that expanding Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium is technically possible but would be very challenging. Speaking on the Royal Blue podcast, the American architect addressed long-standing questions regarding whether the club's new home could eventually add several thousand seats beyond its current 52,769 capacity.
Meis explained that the design of the stadium's roof and site constraints around neighbouring properties at the north end complicate any future additions. He clarified that no expansion is currently planned, reiterating his original preference to build a venue that could remain consistently full.
