David Moyes was quizzed about the issue that forced Vitalii Mykolenko off and the performance of the recalled Jake O'Brien in his Everton side's 2-0 loss at Arsenal…

Everton manager David Moyes stated he has no clarity yet regarding the injury that forced left-back Vitalii Mykolenko off during Everton's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The 27-year-old defender was substituted after 74 minutes of the contest, having recently returned to action following an earlier absence. Moyes admitted after the match that he had "no idea" about the severity of Mykolenko's issue.
Moyes also assessed defender Jake O'Brien, who made his first Premier League start of the season while filling in for the concussed Jarrad Branthwaite. Moyes noted that O'Brien did many good things but acknowledged that the player faces stiff competition from Branthwaite and James Tarkowski, adding that O'Brien still has areas to improve.
