Everton owner Dan Friedkin has never spoken to David Moyes or watched the team play but Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini wants more involvement with his club

Roma head coach Gian Piero Gasperini has urged club owners The Friedkin Group to adopt a more hands-on approach and become more involved with the Italian side. Gasperini stated that his goal is to bring the Friedkin family closer to the team, the city, and the fans, noting that they rarely visit Rome despite offering trust and support through newly appointed CEO John Galantic.
The Friedkin Group, led by Dan Friedkin, also owns Everton, where manager David Moyes previously revealed that Friedkin has never spoken to him or attended a match. In contrast to Everton, Roma has received greater personal involvement from Friedkin, who celebrated their Europa Conference League victory and recently praised the club's status as Serie A leaders alongside plans for a new stadium.
