The Everton striker explains why he chose to post an emotional video from a training session.

Everton striker Thierno Barry has opened up about sharing a vulnerable video of himself crying during a private training session. The 23-year-old French footballer admitted he was scared to publish the clip on his YouTube channel and waited three weeks before doing so. Barry explained that he wanted to show an authentic version of himself and demonstrate that showing raw emotion can be a sign of strength.
Barry signed with Everton from Villarreal for £27m at age 22, initially struggling to adjust to a new league and language while scoring eight goals in 41 appearances. He has rebounded strongly this season with six goals, supported by praise from fans and teammates after Everton reshared his video.
