Everton midfielder James Garner led the Premier League in completed passes during Gameweek 6, completing 85 passes in a 2-2 draw against Hull City. Squawka figures revealed Garner was the only player in the division to reach 80 passes in the round, finishing 12 clear of Manchester City's Elliot Anderson in second place.
Two other Everton players made the top 10, with James Tarkowski completing 70 passes and Michael Keane recording 65. The high passing figures came despite manager David Moyes expressing dissatisfaction with the overall performance, describing the defending as naive after goals from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry were not enough to secure a victory.
