Everton striker Thierno Barry has revealed he played through his debut season with a dislocated shoulder, stating it felt like playing with "one arm less." Speaking in an interview with YouTuber Just Riadh, the 23-year-old explained how the left shoulder issue made it difficult to hold off physical Premier League defenders such as Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, and Calvin Bassey.
Despite suffering the injury against Fulham and requiring heavy strapping, Barry appeared in all 38 Premier League games last season, scoring eight goals. He has started his second season in stronger form, netting six goals in eight appearances, including a goal set up by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in a recent 2-2 draw against Hull City.
