‘You can look into the eyes of the supporters’ – Merlin Rohl’s life with Everton

Everton midfielder Merlin Rohl has launched a photography book titled 'Life with Everton', featuring candid dressing-room moments and supporters outside Hill Dickinson Stadium. Speaking at the book launch, the 24-year-old German described the emotional impact of the passionate fan welcome before last season's 3-0 win against Chelsea, which inspired the cover of his publication.

Rohl, who was signed from Freiburg, discussed his transition to living in Liverpool and his pursuit of regular playing time under manager David Moyes. After featuring at right-back during pre-season and the initial three games of the campaign before suffering an injury, Rohl noted that playing in defense might be his quickest pathway back into the starting lineup.
