Burnley have reportedly joined Stoke City and Sheffield United in tracking Viking defender Henrik Heggheim ahead of the January transfer window. The Clarets have added the 25-year-old Norwegian to their list of defensive targets, with recruitment staff monitoring his progress alongside their Championship rivals.
Heggheim, who can play at right back and central defence, has two years remaining on his contract with Viking. While no formal talks or contact have been reported yet, any potential permanent deal would require an agreement suitable to the Norwegian club.
