Leeds United and Ipswich Town have both sent scouts to monitor Racing Santander striker Yassir Zabiri following an impressive start to his loan spell, according to a report from Africa Foot. The 21-year-old Morocco forward has scored seven goals in eight La Liga appearances, matching the goal tallies of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal while boasting a superior minutes-per-goal ratio.
Zabiri is currently on a loan deal from Rennes that does not include a purchase option. While Racing Santander have reportedly made an official bid to make the move permanent, Rennes could command a significant fee given Zabiri's estimated €20m valuation.
