Ipswich Town striker Emersonn has revealed he is targeting at least 10 Premier League goals in his debut season with the club. The 22-year-old Brazilian forward has enjoyed an encouraging start to life in England, registering two goals and an assist across his first five league appearances following his club-record £26.5m summer transfer from Toulouse.
Emersonn acknowledged the high physical tempo and tactical intensity of the Premier League compared to Ligue 1. Manager Gary O'Neil previously warned supporters that the striker was an inexperienced project who might need time to adapt. Emersonn faces competition in the Blues' attack from fellow summer signing Zian Flemming and Chuba Akpom.
