Club legend Terry Butcher believes Ipswich Town are much better equipped to handle the physical demands of the Premier League this season. Speaking to BBC Radio Suffolk, Butcher praised the squad's improved resilience, steel, and tactical flexibility under manager Gary O'Neil, noting that the players now understand the power required at top-flight level.
Ipswich Town currently sit 10th in the Premier League with nine points from seven matches following three wins and four defeats. Butcher specifically highlighted the adaptability shown in tactical shifts, such as using a back five against Manchester City, and praised the form of Julio Enciso as a key match-winner.
