Leeds United are eyeing a January move for a star who could be the end for Brenden Aaronson's career at the club.

Leeds United are reportedly preparing a move to sign AS Monaco forward Mika Biereth during the January transfer window. According to Footen France, Leeds and Bournemouth are both interested in a deal for the 23-year-old Danish attacker, who previously signed for Monaco from Sturm Graz for approximately £13m in January 2025 but has struggled for playing time this season.
Writer Dan Emery argues that signing Biereth could end Brenden Aaronson's regular role and career at Elland Road. Emery highlights Aaronson's recent struggles, noting the American midfielder has gone ten months without a Premier League goal, and suggests Biereth could replace him in supporting striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
