Arne Slot is back in football, having outlined his plans following his Liverpool sacking

Former Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been officially appointed to UEFA's Technical Observer Group four months after leaving Anfield. In this new role, Slot will assist in monitoring the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League using video and statistical data to analyze modern coaching trends. Other figures on the panel include Rafa Benitez, Roy Hodgson, David James, Gareth Southgate, and Sean Dyche.
Slot had recently been linked with the vacant Netherlands national team managerial role before Xavi was appointed on a four-year contract. However, Slot clarified that he prefers daily involvement on the training ground and confirmed that his long-term ambition remains working in club management.
