Emlyn Hughes' children, Emma and Emlyn Jr, spoke to the ECHO in an exclusive interview as their legendary dad's collection was unveiled

The children of late Liverpool legend Emlyn Hughes, Emma and Emlyn Jr, have reflected on their father's legacy as his personal memorabilia goes on display ahead of an auction. The family decided to part with the historic collection after their mother, Barbara, passed away last year. The items had remained stored in boxes for five decades before being exhibited for the public.
Run by auction house BUDDS, the collection is estimated by COO Adam Gascoigne to be worth upwards of £300,000 ahead of a live auction on November 2. The lots feature Hughes' 1977 and 1978 European Cup final shirts, along with swapped jerseys from icons including Johan Cruyff, Franz Beckenbauer, George Best, Kevin Keegan, and Sir Kenny Dalglish.
