Liverpool host Arsenal in a blockbuster Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon as the Reds aim to stretch their unbeaten run…

Former Liverpool and Arsenal defender Kolo Toure once infuriated manager Arsene Wenger during a 2002 trial by ignoring training instructions. Eager to impress, a 21-year-old Toure aggressively tackled star forwards Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp before sliding into Wenger himself with a two-footed tackle.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour recalled the incident in John Cross's book, noting that Wenger screamed after being taken out. Toure later confirmed the story in 2017, admitting he feared being released before Wenger ultimately opted to sign him due to his evident desire.
