The former Liverpool star has had his say on the "bargain" fee Liverpool paid for a player who is attempting to fill Mohamed Salah's boots…

Former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam praised 18-year-old winger Rio Ngumoha, describing the tribunal fee paid to Chelsea as a bargain. Speaking on the In The Mixer podcast, Adam argued that while nobody can directly replace the departed Mohamed Salah, Liverpool must move on and integrate young talent like Ngumoha at the right moments.
Liverpool signed Ngumoha from Chelsea's academy in 2024 for an initial £2.8m tribunal fee rising to £6.8m with add-ons. The teenager recently registered two assists in a 4-3 Champions League victory over Villarreal under manager Andoni Iraola.
