An exciting sensation could be coming to Liverpool to replace a club legend.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to sign Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen as part of plans to replace club legend Alisson Becker. According to Anfield Watch, Julian Ward is tasked with overseeing squad changes, with Alisson unlikely to receive a contract extension. Although Verbruggen is valued at €46m by Football Transfers, Brighton's asking price for a permanent transfer is expected to be substantially higher.
Liverpool hold doubts over whether Giorgi Mamardashvili is ready to become the undisputed starting goalkeeper, while prospects Lucca Brughmanns and Armin Pecsi need more development. Scouts at Anfield have long admired Verbruggen and believe the Dutch goalkeeper can reach world-class status in the coming years.
