"Liverpool were outstanding for an hour, they were fantastic." 🤔
Steven Gerrard stated on The Overlap that he now backs Manchester City to win the Premier League title instead of Arsenal following City's 3-0 victory against Liverpool. Despite the defeat, Gerrard argued that Liverpool were fantastic and outstanding for an hour before Ryan Gravenberch received a red card.
Manchester City secured the win with second-half goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, and Rayan Cherki under manager Enzo Maresca. Gerrard praised City's maturity, tactical setup, and depth, noting they have adapted successfully after Pep Guardiola's departure.
