Ryan Gravenberch was sent off in the second half of the Premier League clash between Liverpool and Man City at Anfield

Steven Gerrard stated that referee chief Howard Webb knew the official made an error regarding Ryan Gravenberch's dismissal against Manchester City. Speaking on The Overlap, Gerrard noted that he was seated near Webb and argued that Gravenberch's initial yellow card for a challenge on Elliot Anderson was completely unjustified, contributing heavily to the player's eventual second-half sending-off.
Manchester City capitalized on the red card to secure a 3-0 victory with goals from Erling Haaland, Jeremy Doku, and Rayan Cherki. Gravenberch remains eligible for Liverpool's Champions League clash against LASK but will serve a domestic ban during the upcoming match against Brentford.
