Former striker Emile Heskey stated that Liverpool should look to sign players from Manchester City if the club faces relegation following financial charges. Speaking to TEAMtalk, Heskey argued that Liverpool must capitalize on potential market opportunities if City is penalized. Additionally, Heskey recommended that the club pursue transfers for Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo.
Heskey described Guehi as a composed and fantastic center-back capable of playing out from the back. He also praised Semenyo as an explosive attacking player suited for a top-four Premier League side.
