Report: Liverpool want to beat Man United to transfer of wing wizard

Liverpool are reportedly competing with Manchester United and several other Premier League clubs to sign Como winger Assane Diao. Reports from 4-4-2.ch indicate that Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Everton, and Brentford are also monitoring the 21-year-old Senegal international, along with Serie A sides Atalanta and AS Roma.

Como have not yet received a formal bid for Diao and are under no financial pressure to sell, given his contract runs through 2029. A permanent transfer is expected to require a fee of approximately €50 million to €55 million.
