An incredible World Cup hero is coming to Liverpool.
Liverpool have agreed to sign Northern Irish wonderkid Michael Mulholland once he turns 16 next year. The young forward is expected to make a permanent move to Anfield during the January transfer window after catching attention with his standout performances at the U15 World Cup, where he scored seven goals in his first four appearances.
Mulholland currently plays senior football in Northern Ireland for Crusaders FC, where he became the youngest goalscorer in the club's history. His arrival follows Liverpool's recent recruitment strategy overseen by Julian Ward and former director Richard Hughes to secure promising young talent.
