An exciting maverick has agreed to join Liverpool.
Flamengo Head of Scouting Andriy Fedchenkov has agreed to a deal to join Liverpool, according to a report from ESPN Brazil. The 30-year-old recruitment specialist is expected to officially make the move to Anfield in January following the expiration of his contract with the Brazilian club in December.
Fedchenkov brings prior scouting experience from Cardiff City and Greek side PAOK, adding to Liverpool's ongoing restructuring of their global recruitment network. While his precise role at Liverpool remains unconfirmed, writer Bence Bocsak highlights the move as part of the club's long-term dynasty-building strategy led by sporting director Julian Ward and Pedro Marques.
