One Liverpool star looks like his time is up. The player all but confirmed that with his performance on Wednesday.
Writer Alex Caple argues that Kostas Tsimikas has likely played his final chapter at Liverpool following a poor display against Chelsea in the EFL Cup. The Greek left-back, whose contract expires next year, struggled defensively and missed a penalty in the shootout during the match.
Caple writes that Liverpool will not offer Tsimikas an extension as he is unable to consistently challenge starter Milos Kerkez. After an unsuccessful loan spell at AS Roma, the defender is viewed as unlikely to remain as the club manages upcoming contract decisions.
