Liverpool have been inconsistent under Andoni Iraola, but a European giant could now help them out.
Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping tabs on Liverpool playmaker Florian Wirtz and believe a permanent deal could be reached. Internal exploratory discussions are taking place in Bavaria regarding the 23-year-old German international, though no official contact has been made between the two clubs.
Wirtz joined Liverpool for a reported £115 million in the summer of 2025 but has struggled for consistent form under manager Andoni Iraola. While Liverpool currently remain adamant about persevering with Wirtz, a substantial offer could tempt the club to recoup their record outlay.
