Liverpool need to strengthen their ranks soon.
Liverpool has reportedly re-emerged as a contender to sign RB Leipzig center-back Castello Lukeba. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the 23-year-old French defender could be available for a permanent transfer fee of around €50 million, with Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich also interested.
Writer Zak Anderton argues that Lukeba would represent strong value at that price point, citing his European experience and versatility as a left-footed center-back capable of playing left-back. The article notes Liverpool is planning potential defensive reinforcements under manager Andoni Iraola amid injury concerns.
