The arch rivals could be facing off with one another a lot this season.
Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Leeds United center-back Tarik Muharemovic. According to Football Insider, the 23-year-old Bosnian defender has attracted attention from several top Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, following strong performances under Leeds manager Daniel Farke after arriving on a permanent deal in the summer transfer window.
Leeds reportedly have no intention of allowing Muharemovic to depart during the January window and remain optimistic about keeping him long-term. However, writer Zak Anderton notes that Liverpool may need defensive reinforcements as contracts for Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, and Kostas Tsimikas are set to expire at the end of the season.
