Liverpool may need to re-think what they want to do in the transfer window.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly planning to rival Liverpool for the permanent transfer of 18-year-old Mexican winger Gilberto Mora. Following a season-ending ACL injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, PSG manager Luis Enrique is actively seeking attacking reinforcements in the upcoming January transfer window. Journalist Ekrem Konur reports that Liverpool have already made a €40 million offer for the young attacker.
Zak Anderton argues that Liverpool cannot afford to lose Mora to PSG, highlighting the player's potential homegrown status and strong form under manager Andoni Iraola's youth-focused project. Mora impressed at the 2026 World Cup and has recorded five goal contributions in seven games so far this season.
