Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has praised Germany national team manager Jurgen Klopp for his decision to split his 44-man squad into two groups for the upcoming international break. The split-squad approach is designed to give players some rest during the extended international window, which features four UEFA Nations League matches.

Liverpool playmaker Florian Wirtz is scheduled to play in the second set of matches against Serbia on October 1 and Greece three days later. This arrangement allows the 23-year-old midfielder to rest during the first part of the international break following Liverpool's match against Bournemouth.
