What Andoni Iraola did at Anfield speaks volumes after Liverpool Xabi Alonso U-turn

Liverpool Echo writer Theo Squires argues that Andoni Iraola's emotional celebrations following his first Premier League home win over Brighton & Hove Albion show how he is winning over Liverpool supporters. Despite fans previously clamoring for Xabi Alonso to replace Arne Slot, Squires claims supporters are now fully invested in Iraola's tenure ahead of Alonso visiting Anfield with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool have won eight of their first 12 matches under Iraola, moving into the Premier League top four. The writer notes that although Alonso has enjoyed a solid start with Chelsea, Liverpool fans will not look back with regret as Iraola revitalizes the team's form following a difficult end to Slot's reign.
