The Story in 60 Seconds

Tottenham striker Omar Marmoush has been fined after his McLaren 720S supercar was found uninsured and not declared off the road. The 27-year-old was found guilty at Teesside Magistrates' Court on October 5 under the Single Justice Procedure after failing to pay an earlier fixed penalty issued in June. He was fined £220, ordered to pay £100 in costs, and assessed an £88 victim surcharge following a prosecution brought by the DVLA.

Marmoush did not enter a plea or respond to paperwork sent to his previous address in Manchester. The Egyptian forward joined Tottenham on loan from Manchester City in August, with an obligation to make the transfer permanent for £60m at the end of the season.
