Manchester United players could have claims against Manchester City as well as the club reserving their right to seek damages alongside Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester United are reportedly reviewing the financial impact of Manchester City's Premier League financial rule breaches, which could also allow players to seek millions in reparations. Due to standard wage reductions of around 25 percent for failing to reach the UEFA Champions League, squad members who missed out on bonuses and prize money during affected seasons may have grounds for financial claims.
United, alongside Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur, previously registered potential legal claims for damages under Section W of Premier League rules. While an independent commission found City guilty of breaches across nine seasons between 2009 and 2018, City have maintained their innocence and formally appealed the decision.
