The Story in 60 Seconds

Omar Marmoush was prosecuted and found guilty in court after failing to respond to official letters sent to his Manchester apartment regarding an uninsured vehicle. The DVLA initiated legal action when a fixed penalty fine issued in June 2026 for an uninsured McLaren 720S went unpaid, leading to a hearing at Teesside Magistrates' Court on October 5.

The 27-year-old striker was fined £220, alongside £100 in court costs and an £88 victim surcharge, following a hearing through the Single Justice Procedure. Marmoush, who joined Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal with a £60 million obligation to buy, previously scored 10 goals for Manchester City.
