Unusual twist sets up Manchester City vs PSG for blockbuster Champions League clash

Manchester City face Paris Saint-Germain at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday in a Champions League clash where both sides feature nearly clean injury reports. City manager Enzo Maresca has a fully fit squad available, including Phil Foden, following a 3-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool. Meanwhile, Luis Enrique's PSG side enters the fixture with minimal injury concerns beyond a minor doubt over Senny Mayulu.

The high-profile fixture arrives as Manchester City appeal a September ruling from an independent panel that found them guilty of 114 financial breaches. Former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel publicly suggested significant penalties if the appeal fails, including point deductions, a five-year transfer ban, and forced ownership divestment.
