Manchester United may finally be able to sign Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde in January after a "final" meeting with Hansi Flick.

Manchester United's hopes of signing FC Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde have reportedly received a boost ahead of the January transfer window. Spanish reporter Juan Jesus claims that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick informed the defender in a meeting that he should consider leaving the club due to limited playing time.
Manchester United previously attempted to sign Balde on loan during the summer window, but a permanent transfer could now become possible. The English club is currently dealing with another injury to Luke Shaw, while Balde has registered just 12 minutes of competitive action this season.
