Bournemouth are now open to selling Alex Scott in January for around £100m, potentially reigniting Manchester United's interest.

Bournemouth are reportedly open to sanctioning a permanent sale of midfielder Alex Scott in the January transfer window if an offer of around £100m is submitted. According to the BBC, the Cherries have shifted their summer stance following talks with the England midfielder's representatives. Scott had previously pushed to leave the club after rejecting two contract offers at the end of last season.
Manchester United previously explored signing Scott over the summer before Bournemouth declared him not for sale. With Chelsea and Liverpool also reportedly retaining interest in the 23-year-old, writer Vishal Singh argues Manchester United should reignite their pursuit. However, Bournemouth's willingness to complete a deal may still depend on their Premier League survival status.
