Manchester United rescued a point at Fulham, but slow tempo and low intensity left Ashley Young and Louis Saha questioning the team's urgency.

Manchester United salvaged a 1-1 draw against Fulham at Craven Cottage after an 89th-minute deflected shot from Matheus Cunha leveled the match. Fulham had initially taken the lead in the 63rd minute courtesy of an own goal by Lisandro Martinez. Despite registering 29 shots and hitting the woodwork twice, United faced sharp criticism from pundits Ashley Young and Louis Saha over their tempo, work rate, and urgency.
Fulham outran United by covering 116.7 kilometers to United's 110.2 kilometers and recorded 101 sprints compared to United's 91. The result leaves manager Michael Carrick's side in 12th place in the Premier League table after five matches, having won just two of their seven games across all competitions this season ahead of their upcoming fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
