Manchester United have announced a three-man shortlist for the club's September Player of the Month award after a tough run of games.

Manchester United have confirmed Kobbie Mainoo, Youri Tielemans, and Matheus Cunha as the three nominees for the club's September Player of the Month award. The shortlist was narrowed down from an initial eight players based on internal voting, with supporters set to decide the winner. The announcement follows a difficult stretch for manager Michael Carrick's side, who won only one of their five matches across all competitions during the month.
Tielemans started every match in September and recorded two assists after joining from Aston Villa during the summer transfer window. Cunha contributed two goals across the five fixtures, including a late equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Fulham, while Mainoo featured in every match and provided an assist for Bryan Mbeumo.
