Manchester United have reached a major decision on the future of Michael Carrick following the gut-wrenching 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United co-owners INEOS have decided not to sack manager Michael Carrick despite a disappointing home draw against Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report from TEAMtalk. The decision leaves Carrick under no immediate pressure from club hierarchy, even as United sit 12th in the Premier League with only six points from six matches.
The draw came after Bryan Mbeumo scored in the 73rd minute and Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off. However, Dominic Solanke headed a stoppage-time equalizer past goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The club faces an upcoming test against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
