Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde is still being linked with a move to Manchester United as the Janaury transfer window approaches

Manchester United reportedly remain interested in signing Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde ahead of the January transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo. The 22-year-old Spain international was previously linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer and could potentially leave the Camp Nou in the New Year.
Balde has faced limited playing time under Barcelona manager Hansi Flick this season, making just one substitute appearance. Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is monitoring his left-back depth following Tyrell Malacia's earlier free transfer departure and an injury concern for Patrick Dorgu.
