Manchester United are taking action to address an ongoing problem with ticket touts

Manchester United are hiring a specialist to help eradicate ticket touts at Old Trafford. The club posted a vacancy for a Supporter Escalations Executive to lead investigations into ticket distribution, sanctions, and appeals, while using data analysis and artificial intelligence to identify unauthorized reselling trends.
The initiative follows United's recent decision to ban 685 season ticket holders suspected of touting. That move prompted protests from fans, including a demonstration during the Manchester derby led by supporter group The Red Army, who contested the club's handling of the issue.
