Marcus Rashford struggled to track back and keep pace with Atletico Madrid's attacking players, with several Manchester United fans taking to social media to criticise his performance
Marcus Rashford faced criticism from supporters and pundit Wayne Rooney following Manchester United's 2-0 Champions League defeat against Atletico Madrid. During the match, Rooney highlighted a moment where Rashford failed to track Pablo Barrios, stressing that players must stay with runners when under pressure.
United suffered the loss after conceding early to Barrios before Ademola Lookman added a second goal following a red card shown to Leny Yoro. The result leaves manager Michael Carrick under mounting pressure ahead of their next European fixture against Como.
