Manchester United Women captain Maya Le Tissier has been voted the club's Player of the Month for October. The defender claimed 52 percent of the fan vote after featuring in all six matches during an unbeaten run across league and cup competitions. She finished ahead of teammates Phallon Tullis-Joyce, Lea Schuller, and Julia Zigiotti to secure the award.
Le Tissier scored her 15th goal for the club against Liverpool in the Players' Cup while helping keep three clean sheets. She also earned Player of the Match honors against Manchester City and Everton. Additionally, teammate Ella Toone won October's Goal of the Month for her volley against Charlton Athletic.
