Paul Robinson says the Avram Glazers' reported statement on Manchester United is 'garbage' after he said the clubs revenues weren't affected by on-pitch results.
Former goalkeeper Paul Robinson has labeled a statement attributed to Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer as "garbage." Robinson was reacting to reports claiming Glazer stated that the club's commercial revenue is not affected by its on-pitch success.
The comments follow longstanding scrutiny of the Glazer family's leadership at Old Trafford. Robinson strongly dismissed the notion that the Premier League club's financial performance can remain fully detached from results on the pitch.
