Senior Man United figures want INEOS to target one of these two tactical geniuses instead of another safe hire – Telegraph

Senior figures at Manchester United reportedly want INEOS to consider ambitious managerial appointments such as Unai Emery or Cesc Fabregas. Although Michael Carrick has been granted time until the November international break following poor results, internal debates over potential successors continue. While sporting director Jason Wilcox reportedly favors Eddie Howe, others at the club are pushing for more high-profile alternatives.

Alongside Emery and Fabregas, Julian Nagelsmann and Antonio Conte have also drawn interest among club officials. However, significant financial costs and the difficulty of securing an elite manager mid-season present major obstacles, meaning Carrick's performance over the next three matches could determine whether another interim coach is required.
