"Livid" Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney is "not messing around" as he threatens to sue a former England teammate over a stunning claim.

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney is reportedly considering legal action against former England teammate Andy Carroll. The dispute follows claims published in Carroll's autobiography, 'Own It', alleging that Rooney invited teammates to smoke and drink in his hotel room while on international duty. Rooney has strongly denied the assertions, calling them a fabrication and a falsehood.
Rooney's legal team has reportedly sent a letter to the book's publisher demanding an immediate retraction of the claims. The former England striker, who scored 53 goals across 120 caps, insisted that he and Carroll never socialized in that manner, with reports indicating Rooney may proceed to court unless a public apology or retraction is issued.
