Mixed fortunes for sidelined pair…
Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has returned to training ahead of Saturday's match against Chelsea, while striker Benjamin Sesko faces an extended spell out. Manager Michael Carrick confirmed that Mainoo participated in training on Wednesday and is pushing for selection at Stamford Bridge after being sidelined since earlier in October.
In contrast, Sesko is expected to remain sidelined until at least January due to an ongoing shin injury. Carrick noted that United is still working through the healing process, calling the extended absence an unfortunate blow for the player and the team.
