MIKEL ARTETA “destroyed” a room on his first day at Arsenal — to illustrate the chaos at the club. The Spaniard has been rewarded for leading the Gunners to their first Premier League title in 22 years with a bumper…

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that he deliberately destroyed an office upon taking charge in December 2019 to visually demonstrate the chaos within the club. After trashing the room, throwing computers and cables to the floor, Arteta gave staff two minutes to tidy it up before addressing them on unity.
The revelation comes alongside details of other unorthodox motivational tactics, such as hiring a pickpocket and manipulating pre-season conditions. Arteta has recently signed a three-year contract extension worth £80 million, keeping him at Arsenal through 2030 after leading the side to their first league title in 22 years.
